What a dummy ticket means on a visa checklist
“Dummy ticket” is a common search term for a temporary flight reservation used to document a proposed trip. The useful document is the reservation itself: it identifies the passenger, shows the intended flights and includes a real booking reference.
Avionward creates that reservation from the route and dates you enter. You receive the itinerary without paying the full airfare for the final trip, leaving you free to buy the travel ticket when your plans are ready.

How Activate Later worksMatch the itinerary to your application
A round-trip reservation places arrival and return in one itinerary. An onward reservation shows the next international flight after your visit. Choose the structure that matches the journey described in your application.

Dummy ticket questions
What is a dummy ticket for a visa?
A dummy ticket is a real temporary flight reservation created in the passenger's name. It shows the planned route, travel dates, airline, flight details and a booking reference (PNR) in a PDF itinerary.
Does the reservation include a verifiable PNR?
Yes. The itinerary includes the booking reference connected to the temporary reservation. While the reservation is active, use the PNR and passenger surname in the relevant airline booking channel.
How quickly will I receive the PDF?
Immediate Avionward reservations are guaranteed to be delivered by email in 2 minutes after successful payment.
How long does the reservation remain active?
The standard reservation has a 48-hour validity guarantee from the time it is created. Activate Later lets you prepare the order and start that window closer to when you need the document.
Can I choose a round-trip itinerary?
Yes. Choose Round-trip to place the outbound and return flights in the same itinerary. A one-way reservation starts at $12 and a round-trip reservation starts at $24 per passenger.
