Temporary reservations can expire, change or be cancelled. A stated or estimated validity window is not a guarantee that every airline or reservation system will maintain the record for exactly the same duration.

A reservation may be verifiable through a reservation reference, airline-related interface or another method depending on the provider. Verification confirms the reservation record available at that time; it does not create a paid ticket or guarantee acceptance for a separate legal, visa or travel purpose.

• Consulates and visa authorities decide what evidence they accept.
• Immigration and border authorities make entry and transit decisions.
• Reservation systems and airlines control inventory and booking status.
