For the application stage, Avionward provides temporary Havana–Madrid flight reservations with a booking reference and PDF itinerary delivered by email. You can arrange the outbound and return journey without purchasing the full airfare.
The details matter more than the length of the document: the right passenger names, a clear arrival date and a return that matches the proposed stay. Those are the foundations of a useful Spain visa flight itinerary.
Start with the visit you intend to make
Decide how long you expect to stay in Spain and where you will spend that time. A visit based entirely in Madrid can have a straightforward Havana–Madrid–Havana itinerary. There is no reason to add cities or flights that do not belong to your plans.
If relatives are hosting you outside Madrid, arrival at Madrid airport may still fit the journey. Your wider travel plan should account for how you reach their home and return to the airport. The international reservation does not need to describe every train or road transfer.
For applicants in Cuba, the Spanish consulate's guidance includes flight reservations among the application documents. Use the instructions for your own visa category when deciding what to submit. A tourist visit and travel as a family member of an EU citizen may involve different requirements.
Once the visit has dates, keep them consistent across the flight itinerary, accommodation arrangements and application. Changing the return flight while leaving the original dates elsewhere creates avoidable work later.
Book both directions for a planned return to Cuba
When the proposed visit ends with a return home, include the Madrid–Havana journey as well as the outbound flight. A reservation showing only arrival in Spain leaves that part of the plan unexplained.
Check arrival dates carefully. An overnight flight can leave Havana on one calendar date and reach Madrid on the next. The hotel booking or arrangements with your host should follow the arrival date shown on the itinerary.
