What should the traveler take from this scenario?
Order your temporary onward reservation ahead of time and activate it closer to check in, immigration or your visa appointment. From $12 with crypto payment.
Temporary reservations have one obvious problem:
if you create them too early, they can expire before you need them.
Avionward's Activate Later option solves that timing problem.
Order the service ahead of time, then activate the reservation closer to:
- airline check in;
- immigration;
- visa appointment;
- document submission.
Why timing matters
A temporary reservation is not meant to stay alive forever.
The useful period should overlap with the moment someone may actually check it.
Example
Your flight is next Friday.
Today is Monday.
Creating the temporary reservation immediately may waste several days of useful validity.
Activate Later lets you prepare the order first and start the reservation closer to Friday.
Perfect for visa appointments
If your appointment is several days away, you can arrange the service now without starting the reservation immediately.
Perfect for travelers planning ahead
This is useful for:
- backpackers;
- digital nomads;
- long-term travelers;
- business travelers;
- people with fixed departure dates but flexible onward routes.
Crypto payment
You can also pay with crypto, which makes it easy to place the order even when your normal card is unavailable.
What you receive after activation
The reservation can include:
- passenger name;
- route;
- date;
- airline;
- flight number;
- booking reference;
- PDF itinerary.
Order before the airport rush
Do not wait until check in if you already know you may need onward evidence.
